About Sahina

Sahina Sahina discovered bellydance in 2005 and instantly fell in love with the movements, music, and beautiful community she had found. She has studied with many amazing dancers over the years, but her main teachers and inspirations were one of her earliest teachers, Rose Champagne, and her mentor Shifah.

Sahina is based in western Massachusetts where she teaches and performs regularly. She was a founding member of the Middle Eastern band Manavi who she performed with for many years. She is also the co-producer of Dancing into the Dark and Dancing into the Light as well as a member of the Illuminata Dance Company.

She loves to share her passion for music and dance with her students, dance partners, and audiences around New England.
