The Professional Spectrum
Episode 9 of the Belly Dance Geek Clubhouse:
My guest, Julie Eason of the Belly Dance Business Academy, will talk about the different ways we define “professional” in the belly dance world, and what that means for YOU.
Whether you’re a pro, an aspiring pro, or just curious about what the professional world looks like, there’s something here for you!
You’ll learn:
- The different things that “professional belly dancer” can mean
- How to decide where on the professional spectrum is right for you
- How your marketing needs change (or don’t) on different points on the spectrum
We’ll also have some discussion time, so you can ask Julie your questions.
And two listeners will get FREE coaching on the call
Julie will also be giving two “hot seat” coaching sessions live on the call. If you’re selected, you’ll get Julie’s personal help with your marketing plan or web site strategy.
The hot seat participants have already been selected, but you can still ask Julie your questions if you join us live on the call. Scroll down to the “Join Us in the Clubhouse” section, and sign up, and you’ll receive the call-in details.
About Julie
Julie Eason is the founder of The Belly Dance Business Academy where she helps dancers build more fulfilling and profitable businesses.
Julie created the Belly Dance Business Academy because she was sick and tired of watching dancers struggle to make ends meet just because they didn’t know how to market themselves. A belly dancer herself since the mid -1980s, she’s been in the professional dance world as a performer, teacher, artistic director, producer, and costume designer for over 25 years. Now a full-time marketing consultant, she is on a one-woman mission to stamp out the words “Starving Artist” forever.
Over the years, Julie has helped dancers around the world build thriving studios, establish performing careers in competitive markets, create and sell unique programs that explore belly dance in deeper, more meaningful ways. And she has helped these women double, sometimes even quadruple, their dance incomes.
Most of all, Julie Eason has an unwavering, steadfast belief in you, and your ability to transform your dreams into reality. The Belly Dance Business Academy exists to provide the marketing training and unconditional support necessary to make that happen.
